Bringing Freshness, Flavour & Home to Your Table At Izzy Assorted, we believe food is more than just nourishment - it's a connection to home, culture, and the people you love. We are passionate about delivering not just meals, but memories, right to your doorstep.
Izzy Assorted's journey began in the vibrant city of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria, where our founder first discovered a passion for making food preparation easier for busy families. One day at the local butcher house, I noticed a lady ordering the popular assorted meat - a mix of beef strip, intestine, and more - but she hesitated when she realized how much work it would take to clean it. The cleaning process meant hours in the kitchen, and she simply didn't have the time. From a distance, I wondered, How can I make this easier for people like her? That same day, I bought some assorted meat and began experimenting at home. After many trials (and many failures), I discovered the safest and most effective way to clean it - leaving it fresh, neatly packed, and pot ready. When I delivered those first packs to customers in Benin, their joy and relief told me I was onto something. And just like that, Izzy Assorted was born. Over the years, our offerings grew to include goat, chicken, turkey, fish, and other African groceries, serving thousands of happy families. In 2024, we brought that same passion and expertise across the ocean to Ontario, Canada. Today, we proudly serve families here with the same freshness, quality, and cultural connection we started with in Nigeria - helping our community keep the taste of home alive, no matter where they are.
